Farmers should be made owners: Dr. R. C. Jagadeesha (Vice-Chancellor KSNUAHS)
SAGAR: Members of Rotary Club of Sagar, visited University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences Iruvakki on 28/07/23 ; under the leadership of Rtn Dr.Rajnandani Kagodu ( President) and had discussion with Vice Chancellor Dr R C Jagadeesha & Scientists to Educate the farmers about the technical methods of cultivation.
In the coming days, it was decided to conduct Workshop & seminars for the benefit of farmers.
Dissussed regarding training to farmers on soil health, soil testing, soil fertility, Arecanut husk composting and Nutrient Management aspect jointly with rotary club.
Rotary Blood Bank President Rtn. Dr. H. M. Shivakumar, Rtn. Jnaneshwarappa, Rtn. Guruprasad, Rtn. Jagadish, Rtn. Mahesh Angad, Rtn. Narendra M.M., Rtn. Pradeep, Rtn. Vinaya Prasad, and Rtn. Sisel Soman members of Rotary were present & Dr. R. C. Jagadeesh, VC, KSNUAHS , Dr. Ganapathi, Associate professor and Head, Department of Soil Science, College of agriculture sciencess, Iruvakki Dr. Niranjana, Assistant professor were also present.
