Rotary Club of Sagar Installs New Office Bearers for 2026–27

Rtn. PHF V.C. Shivappa Naik Assumes Office as President; Rtn. Sisel P. Soman Installed as Secretary
The Rotary Club of Sagar successfully conducted its Installation Ceremony of Office Bearers for the Rotary Year 2026–27 on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Rotary Bhavan, Sagara, in the presence of distinguished Rotary leaders, dignitaries, members, guests, media representatives, and well-wishers.
The ceremony marked the formal transfer of leadership from Immediate Past President Rtn. Gowtham K.S. to Rtn. PHF V.C. Shivappa Naik, who officially assumed office as the President for the Rotary Year 2026–27. Rtn. Sisel P. Soman was installed as the Club Secretary.
The installation ceremony was officiated by Rtn. PDG Prof. Chandrashekar A.S., Director – Seven Areas of Focus, RI District 3182, while Rtn. PHF Nagaraj S., Assistant Governor, Zone-11, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Rtn. PHF K.B. Krishna Otur, Zonal Lieutenant, Zone-11, attended as the Guest of Honour.
The newly installed office bearers for the Rotary Year 2026–27 are:
- President: Rtn. PHF V.C. Shivappa Naik
- Immediate Past President: Rtn. Gowtham K.S.
- President Elect: Rtn. PHF Venkatarao
- Vice President: Rtn. Shivananda Bilgi
- Secretary: Rtn. Sisel P. Soman
- Club Learning Facilitator: Rtn. PHF Guruprasad K.
- Joint Secretary: Rtn. Vijayananda M.
- Treasurer: Rtn. PHF Narendra M.M.
- Sergeant-at-Arms: Rtn. Sareesh B.E.
During the ceremony, the club also welcomed nine new members into the Rotary family, further strengthening its commitment to community service and fellowship. The newly inducted members are:

- Rtn. Divya Sisel
- Rtn. Ganesh Shetty

The club also announced its directors and chairpersons for various service avenues, including Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, International Service, Youth Services, Membership Development, The Rotary Foundation (TRF), Public Image, IT & Website, District Projects, and PolioPlus, forming a dedicated leadership team to serve the community during the year ahead.
The installation function was attended by Rotarians from various clubs, distinguished guests, representatives of the Rotary Education Society (R.), Sagara, Rotary–Red Cross Blood Centre (R.), Sagara, Rotary Charitable Trust (R.), Sagara, and members of the public. The evening concluded with a fellowship dinner celebrating the beginning of another year of Rotary service under the Rotary International theme, “Create Lasting Impact.”
