Shivamogga District Police Officers Honoured with DG & IGP Commendation Disc 2025–26

In a moment of immense pride for the Shivamogga District Police, two dedicated police officers have been selected to receive the prestigious DG & IGP Commendation Disc 2025–26, one of the highest recognitions presented by the Karnataka State Police for exemplary service.
The award has been conferred upon Sri Kariyappa A.G., Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP), and Shri Dileep S.V., Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP), DAR, both of whom are currently serving in the Shivamogga District Police.
The DG & IGP Commendation Disc is awarded annually to police personnel who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, professionalism, integrity, and outstanding performance in maintaining law and order, crime detection, and public service.
The recognition of these two officers reflects the commitment, efficiency, and high standards maintained by the Shivamogga District Police. Their achievement has brought pride not only to the district police force but also to the citizens of Shivamogga.
