Municipal Budgets; State Government to Support Corporations Facing Financial Shortage: D. K. Shivakumar
Bengaluru, March 25:
“Municipal corporations that are facing financial shortages for presenting their budgets will receive support from the state government,” said Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday at the Vidhana Soudha premises, Shivakumar, who is also the Bengaluru Urban Development Minister, responded to questions regarding municipal budgets.
When asked about the issue, he stated, “Five corporations in Bengaluru will present separate budgets, and a well-planned framework has been prepared. Discussions have also been held with MLAs on this matter. Due to decentralization, funds allocated to individual corporations will not be diverted elsewhere.”
