Malayali Samajam Sagara (R) Forms ‘Mythri (My3 X1 Sagara)’ Cricket Club
Sagara: The Youth Wing of Malayali Samajam Sagara (R) has formed a new cricket club named “Mythri (My3 X1 Sagara)”. All sports activities of the Samajam will henceforth be conducted under the banner of this Cricket Club.
Addressing the members, Team Captains Johnson and Lijo stated that sports activities are greatly missing in modern life. Due to work pressure and lack of physical activity, many people are facing heavy stress. “Sports is the best way to relieve stress and maintain both physical and mental health,” they said.
Members will be divided into different age groups including kids, under-18, under-40, and above-50 categories. Both indoor and outdoor sports activities will be organized. A Sports Day will be conducted during the summer vacations to encourage participation from all members.
A “Day Out” program is also being planned to help members interact with one another and build stronger bonding within the community. In the coming days, Malayali Samajam also plans to organize district-level and state-level sports events.
Malayali Samajam President Sisel Panayil Soman, Vice-President John, Secretary Sabu Philip, BOD members Gopi and Sibin, along with cricket team members, were present on the occasion.
The following members have been included in the Cricket Club: Johnson Thomas, Lijo Mathew, Jinu J, Saju Antony, Charles Jacob, Abdul Azeez, Abhilash, Sijo, Numan, Sibi, Subbu, Manju, and Alfred.
