Amritsar : Indian-origin scientist Dr. Gurtej Singh Sandhu has carved a distinguished place for himself in the history of global innovation. Ranked among the world’s top seven inventors, Dr. Sandhu holds over 1,380 U.S. patents, surpassing even legendary inventor Thomas Edison.
Born in Amritsar, Punjab, Dr. Sandhu completed his early education at Guru Nanak Dev University and later studied at IIT Delhi. He went on to earn a PhD in Physics in the United States, marking the beginning of an extraordinary international scientific career.
Dr. Sandhu has played a pivotal role in advancing semiconductor technology.
