Rotary Club Thekkatte to Host Leadership Seminar for President-Elects and Secretaries

The Rotary Club Thekkatte is set to organize a comprehensive leadership training program titled PRE PELS & SELS 2026, aimed at preparing President-Elects and Secretary-Elects for the upcoming Rotary year.
The President Elect and Secretary Elect Learning Seminar will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Hotel Blue Waters, Fort Gate, near Inspection Bungalow, Kundapura, beginning at 3:00 PM.
The seminar will be inaugurated by Major Donor Rtn. B.M. Bhat (DGE 2026-27), with Rtn. Sudhir Malyadi, President of Rotary Club Thekkatte, presiding over the function. Distinguished guests include Rtn. Shyamsundar Nairy (Assistant Governor, Zone-II), Rtn. Sudhakar Shetty (Assistant Governor Elect 2026-27), and several zonal leaders and advisors.
The event will feature multiple training sessions covering key aspects of Rotary leadership, including:
Conducting effective meetings and club assemblies
Roles and responsibilities of presidents and secretaries
Financial management, budgeting, and compliance
Preparation for Governor’s official visits
Rotary digital platforms and reporting systems
Prominent Rotary leaders such as Rtn. K.K. Kanchan, Rtn. Chandrashekar Mendon, Rtn. M. Ganesh Shetty Molahalli, and Rtn. Allen Vinay Lewis will lead the sessions.
The seminar will conclude with a valedictory function featuring Rtn. Allen Vinay Lewis (DGND 3182, 2028-29) as the chief guest, followed by fellowship and dinner.
Organizers believe that the program will play a crucial role in enhancing leadership skills, strengthening club operations, and ensuring effective service initiatives in the coming Rotary year.
