Preparatory Meeting for Marikamba Jatra Mahotsava at Sagara Guest House – MLA Gopalakrishna Belur
Sagara: In connection with the famous Sri Marikamba Jatra Mahotsava of Sagara taluk, an important preparatory meeting was held at the Sagara Guest House with the objective of organizing the festival successfully and smoothly.
The meeting was attended by the presidents of Ulluru, Bhimakone, Kalmane, Yadajigalamane, Khandika, Bhimaneri and Nadakalase Gram Panchayats, along with the respective PDOs (Panchayat Development Officers).
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the arrangements to be made during the Jatra Mahotsava, including basic infrastructure, cleanliness, drinking water facilities, electricity supply, traffic regulation, security, health services and emergency services. It was ordered that all necessary measures should be taken to ensure that devotees coming to the festival do not face any inconvenience.
It was resolved that the Gram Panchayat presidents and PDOs should complete all Jatra-related preparations within their respective jurisdictions on time. The importance of working in coordination with various departments was also emphasized during the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, everyone expressed their resolve to conduct the Marikamba Jatra Mahotsava in a peaceful, well-organized and devotional manner.
