Shivamogga: A dispute over a missing gold ornament at the Muthoot Mini Corp Indira Gandhi Circle branch in Shivamogga was resolved after the intervention of the Karnataka Human Rights Panel.
The customer, Basavaraj, had earlier pledged gold at the finance company and later visited the branch to release his jewellery. During the process, he was reportedly informed that one gold ornament was missing, following which he raised a complaint.

The issue was taken up by Pradeep Meethal, State Vice President of the Karnataka Human Rights Panel, who intervened in the matter and held discussions with the branch management.
Following the talks, the branch manager assured that the issue would be resolved and arrangements were made to return the missing ornament to Basavaraj.
After the intervention, the dispute was settled and the customer received justice. The incident has also highlighted the importance of carefully verifying jewellery while pledging gold with financial institutions.
