PM Modi Holds Bilateral Talks with Liechtenstein’s Hereditary Prince Alois
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein in New Delhi on Friday on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the two leaders reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation and discussed ways to further strengthen ties between the two countries. They agreed to promote deeper collaboration, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and emerging technologies.
The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in Artificial Intelligence (AI), innovation, and skill development, building on the momentum generated by the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA). Both sides underlined the importance of leveraging the agreement to boost economic linkages and create new opportunities for businesses and professionals.
In a social media post, Prime Minister Modi said that the meeting highlighted the strong potential of economic relations between India and Liechtenstein, especially in the wake of the India-EFTA agreement. He noted that both nations share significant scope for cooperation in sectors such as technology, innovation, and skilling.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to deepen engagement and explore new avenues of partnership in high-growth and future-oriented sectors.
