Nilgiri Vulture Census to Be Conducted on March 7–8
Bengaluru | March 5:
Forest departments of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala will jointly conduct the Nilgiri Vulture Census on March 7 and 8.
The survey aims to monitor the population of endangered vultures in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve region.
Forest officials said the exercise will help track conservation efforts and assess the status of vulture species in the area.
