Sagara: A newly developed park at the Mother and Child Hospital in Sagara was inaugurated on March 7 by local MLA and Chairman of the Karnataka State Forest Industries Development Corporation, Gopalakrishna Beluru.
Speaking on the occasion, Gopalakrishna Beluru said that a healthy and pleasant environment is very important for the well-being of mothers and children visiting hospitals. He noted that the newly created park would provide a peaceful and relaxing space for patients and their families.
He further stated that hospitals should have green spaces where visitors can rest and children can spend some time in a calm and refreshing atmosphere. Such initiatives help improve the overall environment of healthcare facilities and contribute positively to the mental well-being of patients and attendants.
The park has been designed with greenery, seating arrangements, and play equipment for children. It aims to create a comfortable and welcoming environment within the hospital premises.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by hospital doctors, staff members, local leaders, and members of the public. The park is expected to benefit not only mothers and children visiting the hospital but also others who come to the facility.
