Lokayukta Raids Officials Over Disproportionate Assets
Bengaluru | March 5:
The Karnataka Lokayukta conducted raids in several districts across Karnataka against government officials accused of possessing assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.
During the crackdown, officials searched the houses and offices of engineers and other government staff as part of an investigation into alleged corruption.
Authorities said the raids were carried out simultaneously at multiple locations as part of the ongoing anti-corruption drive.
