Limited Fire Erupts at BAPCO Energies Refinery After Missile Strike; No Casualties Reported
Manama | March 5, 2026:
A minor fire broke out at one of the units of the BAPCO Energies refinery following an Iranian missile strike, the National Communication Centre confirmed.
Authorities said the fire was quickly brought under control, and no injuries have been reported. Refinery operations continue as teams carry out a detailed assessment of the damage.
Officials reassured that safety protocols were fully effective and that production has not been significantly impacted.
