Kerala Samajam Shivamogga Honours District In-charge Minister Madhu Bangarappa During Bangarappa Road Nameplate Unveiling

Shivamogga: The Kerala Samajam Shivamogga honoured District In-charge Minister Madhu Bangarappa during the unveiling of the road nameplate dedicated to former Chief Minister S. Bangarappa in Shivamogga today.

The Shivamogga City Corporation organised a special programme to officially name a prominent road in the city after the late leader S. Bangarappa. The Government of Karnataka had earlier issued a notification to name the 100-foot-wide dual carriage road stretching from Alkola Circle to DVG Circle in Gopalagowda Layout after the former Chief Minister.

As part of the decision, the nameplate unveiling ceremony was held at Gopalagowda Layout at 11:30 a.m. in the presence of District In-charge Minister Madhu Bangarappa, along with Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, and several dignitaries.

The initiative has been widely welcomed by admirers and supporters of S. Bangarappa, who described the move as a fitting tribute to the former Chief Minister’s contributions to the state and its people.

On behalf of Kerala Samajam Shivamogga, Ramakrishnan ( Vice President Kerala Samajam ) Pradeep Meethal (Former President, Kerala Samajam), Girish Kumar V (Secretary, Kerala Samajam), Suresh Kumar (Treasurer, Kerala Samajam), Mohan Nair, Prakash, Binoy, George, Brijith Varghese, Vanajakshi, Sunita Suresh, Sandhya Girish, Anita Mohan, and Sajitha were present on the occasion.
