Dubai | March 14, 2026:
In a heartwarming display of community support, Indian businessman Yogesh Doshi has opened his residential building in Dubai to Indians stranded due to ongoing tensions in West Asia and travel disruptions.
Doshi, Chairman of Al Mizan Group, offered all 64 units of his residential building free of cost to Indian travelers who were unable to return home as flights were delayed and travel plans became uncertain. The accommodation includes basic facilities and meals, ensuring that those affected have a safe and comfortable place to stay.
According to reports, more than 125 Indians, including families with children, have already benefited from the initiative. Many travelers had exhausted their hotel bookings and were struggling to find affordable accommodation in the city.
The effort was coordinated with the Indian People’s Forum UAE and the Consulate General of India in Dubai to identify and assist those most in need. The support provided immediate relief to travelers worried about temporary housing and safety during the ongoing regional tensions.
People staying at the building expressed deep gratitude for the gesture, stating that the support brought them comfort and reassurance at a difficult time.
The initiative has been widely praised within the Indian community in the UAE, highlighting the spirit of solidarity and compassion among Indians living abroad. Observers say such acts of kindness reflect the strength of community networks that often come together to help during challenging circumstances.
