Foundation Stone Laid and Inauguration of Various Development Works
Bhatkal: Several development works, including road development and construction of culverts, were inaugurated and foundation stones laid today across Bhatkal and the surrounding Gram Panchayat areas. The inauguration and foundation stone–laying ceremonies were carried out by local MLA Gopala Krishna Bellur.
In the Kogaru area, the foundation stone was laid for the re-asphalting of the Bhatkal–Sorab main road, a project expected to greatly improve traffic flow and ensure smoother transportation for the general public.
Within the Bhanukuli Gram Panchayat limits, the Kanchigadde culvert was formally inaugurated, while the foundation stone was laid for the Hebbanakeri culvert project. Additionally, foundation stones were laid for the Budigaru–Kadakodu road development work and the construction of the Kallugadde culvert.
Further, the foundation stone was laid for the road development work from the Bhatkal main road up to the residence of Shivakumar at Hosagadde. Once completed, this project will significantly enhance connectivity for local residents.
On the same day, the foundation stone was also laid for the asphalting of the Jegal–Nellimakki road under the Aralagodu Gram Panchayat. Local residents noted that these initiatives would play a vital role in strengthening rural infrastructure.
Public representatives and officials expressed confidence that all the works undertaken for public benefit would be completed within the stipulated timeframe, contributing to overall development of the region.
