Centre Forms Empowered Groups to Assess Impact of West Asia Conflict

Hind Samachar News | March 2026:
At the national level, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has constituted seven empowered groups to closely assess the impact of the ongoing West Asia conflict on India’s economy.

The move is aimed at ensuring preparedness in key sectors, including fuel supply, inflation management, and the availability of essential commodities. The groups will monitor developments arising from the geopolitical situation and recommend timely measures to safeguard the country’s economic stability.

Officials indicated that the initiative reflects the government’s proactive approach in addressing potential disruptions caused by global tensions, particularly in energy and supply chains.

The Centre continues to keep a close watch on the situation, with a focus on minimizing the impact on citizens and maintaining economic resilience during the ongoing crisis.
