Apple Launches Its First Education Hub in India at Bengaluru
Bengaluru: Global technology giant Apple has launched its first Education Hub in India in Bengaluru, marking a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to strengthen skill development and workforce training in the country. This is only the fourth such Education Hub established by Apple worldwide.
The hub has been set up in collaboration with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and will begin offering structured skill-building and professional development programmes from March. The initiative is aimed at employees working across more than 25 Apple supplier sites spread throughout India.
Training modules at the Education Hub will focus on future-ready skills, including digital literacy, Swift coding, robotics, automation, and smart manufacturing. These programmes are designed to enhance technical capabilities and prepare employees for emerging roles in advanced manufacturing and technology-driven industries.
The initiative is supported by Apple’s global Supplier Employee Development Fund, underscoring the company’s commitment to investing in human capital and sustainable supply chains. Industry observers note that the launch further reinforces Bengaluru’s status as a major centre for technology, innovation, and advanced skill development.
Apple’s Education Hub is expected to play a key role in strengthening India’s manufacturing ecosystem while creating long-term opportunities for workforce upskilling in high-growth technology sectors.
