Bhoomi Pooja Performed for Prahlad Mahishi RashtrOthana Vidya Kendra School Building in Gadag
Gadag: The bhoomi pooja (ground-breaking ceremony) for the construction of the Prahlad Mahishi RashtrOthana Vidya Kendra school building was performed with devotion at Kalasapur village in Gadag.
The school, being established by Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, will function under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum and will be the 23rd school of the institution.This educational institution is being constructed with the support of donors in memory of the late Prahlad Bindurao Mahishi, former Chief Secretary of the Government of Karnataka. The institution stated that the school is being started with the objective of providing socially responsible and value-based education.
Dr. Meena Deshpande Mahishi and her family members were present at the bhoomi pooja ceremony. Several dignitaries, including the General Secretary of RashtrOthana, Shri Na. Dinesh Hegde, participated in the event and conveyed their best wishes.
The school is scheduled to commence its academic activities from the 2027–28 academic year and is expected to play a significant role in providing quality and value-based education to students in Gadag and the surrounding regions.
