Anti-Riot Control Workshop Held in Bhadravathi: Special Training for Police Personnel

Shivamogga: The Shivamogga District Police, in joint collaboration with the 97 RAF Bhadravathi unit, organized an “Anti Revolt Drill Workshop” this morning focusing on riot control measures. The workshop was conducted at the MPM premises and the RAF ground in Bhadravathi.

Officers and personnel from the Shivamogga District Police, District Armed Reserve (DAR), and Special Armed Force (SAF) participated in the program. Detailed guidance was provided on procedures to be followed during riots and other major bandobast situations, methods to maintain law and order, and strategies to ensure public safety.

The training covered the use of riot control equipment, crowd management techniques, rapid response methods during emergencies, and the importance of coordinated operations. Senior officials offered practical demonstrations to enhance the understanding and preparedness of the personnel.

Officials stated that such workshops play a vital role in improving the efficiency of police personnel and strengthening public safety.
