IndiGo Clears All Refunds for Flight Cancellations Between December 3 and 5: DGCA

New Delhi: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Tuesday informed that all refunds related to IndiGo flight cancellations between December 3 and December 5 have been fully processed and cleared.
According to the aviation regulator, passengers affected by the cancellations during this period have now received their due refunds, bringing closure to the issue that arose following the airline’s operational disruption earlier this month.
Earlier, IndiGo had announced a compensation of ₹10,000 for customers impacted by the large-scale disruptions on December 3, 4, and 5. The airline had faced significant operational challenges, leading to multiple flight delays and cancellations across its network.

The DGCA has been closely monitoring the situation and had directed the airline to ensure timely refunds and compensation to affected passengers. With the confirmation that all pending refunds have now been settled, the regulator stated that the matter stands resolved.

IndiGo had earlier expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers and assured that corrective measures were being implemented to prevent similar disruptions in the future.
