Inauguration of the New First-Floor Building at Heggodu Gram Panchayat – MLA Gopala Krishna Bellur
Sagara: The newly constructed first-floor building of the Heggodu Gram Panchayat office in Sagara taluk was inaugurated on Monday. The inauguration was carried out by Gopalakrishna Beluru, the MLA of the Sagara–Hosanagara Assembly Constituency and Chairman of the Karnataka State Forest Industries Development Corporation.
The first-floor building has been constructed using the Gram Panchayat’s own resources, grants from the 15th Finance Commission, and funds allocated for the construction of Panchayat Raj Institution buildings. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the building was constructed with the objective of strengthening the basic infrastructure required for effective Gram Panchayat administration.
Among those present at the inauguration ceremony were D. S. Arun, Gram Panchayat President Raghavendra, and Vice President Manjappagowda.
Others who attended the event included Dharmappa, Rajesh, Suma, Gurudatta, Arun Kumar, Kausalya, Lalitha, Shobha, Pavitra, Mandagalale Ganapati, Ashok Beluru, Shivaprakash, Gurukrishna Shanai, and several others.
