New Delhi: The Indian Army’s high-level Army Commanders’ Conference concluded in New Delhi, with senior military leadership engaging in extensive discussions on strengthening the country’s defense capabilities amid evolving global security challenges.
The conference brought together top Army officials to deliberate on key strategic priorities, including lessons from ongoing global conflicts, enhancing operational preparedness, and accelerating modernization efforts within the force.
A major focus of the discussions was on boosting self-reliance in defense production, in line with the government’s push for Atmanirbhar Bharat. Emphasis was placed on reducing dependency on imports by promoting indigenous technologies, advanced weapon systems, and domestic defense manufacturing.
