Netanyahu Claims Iran Weakened After Joint U.S.–Israeli Strikes
Tel Aviv | March 13, 2026:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed that Iran’s military capabilities have been significantly weakened following recent joint military operations carried out by Israel and the United States. In a public statement, Netanyahu said the coordinated strikes targeted key elements of Iran’s military infrastructure and elite forces.
The Israeli leader emphasized that the operations had dealt a major blow to Iran’s strategic capabilities, particularly affecting units considered part of the country’s elite military structure. According to Netanyahu, the strikes were part of broader efforts to counter threats posed by Iran in the region.
Netanyahu also revealed that he has been in regular communication with U.S. President Donald Trump since the conflict escalated. He said both countries are closely coordinating their strategies and responses as the situation continues to develop.
The statement marked Netanyahu’s first public address since the conflict began, signaling Israel’s determination to continue its military operations if necessary. The developments have further intensified tensions in West Asia, raising concerns among global leaders about the possibility of a wider regional escalation.
