BJP Steps Up Campaign in Kerala Amid Political Controversies
Hind Samachar News | March 2026:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its political activities in Kerala as the state moves closer to the 2026 Assembly elections.
As part of its strategy to expand its presence, the party has announced multiple lists of candidates, fielding key leaders across various constituencies. Senior leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar has also been in the spotlight, with opposition parties raising allegations regarding asset disclosures, adding to the political heat.
Meanwhile, a controversy surfaced after a document linked to the Election Commission of India allegedly carried a BJP seal and went viral on social media. Authorities later clarified that it was due to a technical or human error, but the incident sparked discussions on electoral transparency.

The BJP continues to face criticism from rival parties, particularly the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M)-led Left Democratic Front, which has questioned the party’s influence in Kerala’s political landscape.
Despite these challenges, the BJP is focusing on strengthening its grassroots network and increasing its vote share, aiming to emerge as a stronger force in the state. Political observers believe the party’s success will depend on its ability to attract new voters in a region traditionally dominated by the LDF and UDF alliances.
With campaign activities gaining momentum, Kerala is expected to witness an intense political contest in the coming weeks.
