PM Narendra Modi’s Balanced Diplomacy Highlighted as India Not Included in Iran’s Warning to Western-Linked Vessels
New Delhi | March 7:
As tensions escalate in West Asia, Iran has issued warnings to several vessels linked to Western countries operating in the region. However, ships connected to India were not included in the warning.
The development is significant as more than half of India’s crude oil imports pass through the Strait of Hormuz, a key global energy route. Analysts say the move reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s balanced diplomatic approach and India’s ability to maintain relations with multiple global blocs.
Observers note that this strategy has helped safeguard India’s energy security while maintaining stable ties with countries across the region.
