Puttaparthi: What began as a simple religious procession turned into a profound reflection on unity, faith, and shared humanity for many participants who gathered in a recent walk for solidarity.
Among them was Vinitha J. Menon, who described the event as an awakening that transcended ritual and entered the realm of lived conviction. Raised in a traditional Hindu family with deeply secular values, she had grown up respecting friends from diverse communities. However, she acknowledged that understanding one’s own faith requires deeper engagement, a journey that led her to explore spiritual literature at the Sathya Sai Ashram in Puttaparthi.
