Nagendra K. Pandit Appointed KSCA Shivamogga Zone President
Shivamogga: Senior cricketer and cricket administrator Nagendra K. Pandit has been nominated as the President of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), Shivamogga Zone. A distinguished alumnus of the local college, Pandit currently represents the Sagara Cricket Club.
With nearly five decades of experience in cricket, Nagendra K. Pandit is widely regarded as a committed sportsman and an experienced administrator. He has contributed to the game both as a player and as an office-bearer. A former employee of Canara Bank, he represented the bank’s cricket team and also served as its captain during his playing career.
Pandit is the Founder President of the Nagendra Pandit Cricket Academy, Sagara, an institution known for its sustained efforts in nurturing young talent and strengthening grassroots-level cricket. The academy has played a key role in identifying and developing emerging cricketers in the region.
His appointment is expected to further promote structured development of cricket activities in the Shivamogga zone under the KSCA framework.
